Adrian Sarbu, President and Chief Executive Officer of Central European Media Enterprises (CME), the company which owns the TV stations in the Media Pro trust, said that markets hit a low in the third quarter of 2009, and this is a new beginning for the TV market: “This is the fourth quarter of decline for all advertising markets on which we activate. Advertising expenses fell 30 percent compared to 2008. We believe the markets have reached a low. This is a new beginning,” Sarbu said.

The official added that macroeconomic forecasts for 2010 improved and that he is expecting the advertising market to begin to bounce back.
