The BET index reflecting the evolution of the ten best companies on the market eased 0.45 percent to 5,065.43 and the BET-C composite index assessing all listed shares minus financial companies reduced 0.39 percent to 2,966.73.
The BET-FI index of the five financial companies SIF inched 0.19 percent to 27,860.00, while the ROTX index for trading blue-chips in Vienna tumbled 0.82 percent to 10,391.34.
The BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid companies slipped 0.32 percent to 511.04 and the BET-NG index showing the evolution of the power market lowered 0.26 percent to 652.61.
Shares of SIF Oltenia (SIF5) were the most traded on the market and jumped 1.32 percent to 1.54 lei and those of SIF Moldova (SIF2) advanced 0.76 percent to 1.32 lei.
On the banking sector, BRD SocGen (BRD) slumped 0.68 percent to 14.70 lei, while Banca Transilvania (TLV) depreciated 0.94 percent to 2.11 lei. Austrian lender Erste Bank (EBS) fell 2.04 percent to 115.50 lei.
Romania’s top oil company Petrom (SNP) dropped 1.07 percent to 0.278 lei and gas operator Transgaz Medias (TGN) gained 0.22 percent to 184.40 lei.
