The Tinmar – Ind SA trader, controlled by businessman Augustin Oancea, began its activity on the European energy commodity market (EEX), being the first Romanian company that entered this market, Marian Alexandru, the company’s Trade Development Manager, told Business Standard.

“We are expanding on trading abroad, because this is part of our development strategy. We want to obtain licenses all European markets,” Alexandru said.

Tinmar – Ind SA began the expansion process of its electricity trading and supply activity in September 2008, by founding the TINMAR Energiakereskedő Kft company and obtaining the license for the Hungarian energy market. Since June 2009, the expansion process continued, and trading licenses were obtained for the Austrian, German, Bulgarian, and Greek markets.
