Romania’s core bourse BSE ends session in the green, the power sector hikes 1.33%

Liquidity amounted to 24.15 million lei at day-end, versus 20.78 million lei in the previous session.

The BET index reflecting the evolution of the ten best companies on BSE added 0.61 percent to 6,028.93 and the BET-C composite index assessing all listed shares minus financial companies gained 0.53 percent to 3,621.17.

The BET-FI index of the five financial companies known as SIF climbed 0.84 percent to 32,579.99 and the ROTX index for trading blue-chips in Vienna rose 1.01 percent to 12,325.38.

The BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid companies soared 0.40 percent to 601.65 and the BET-NG index showing the evolution of the power market jumped 1.33 percent to 829.01.

Shares of Oil Terminal (OIL) boosted 10.29 percent to 0.30 lei, following deals of 2.74 million lei, while those of Condmag (COMI) increased 2.16 percent to 0.9450 lei.

Romania’s top oil company Petrom (SNP) slipped 0.28 percent to 0.35 lei, while SIF Oltenia (SIF5) nudged up 1.04 percent to 1.95 lei and SIF Moldova (SIF2) won 1.36 percent to 1.49 lei.
