Romania’s core bourse BSE ends session with mild drops on all indexes

Liquidity amounted to 15.23 million lei, versus 47.53 million lei in the previous session.

The BET index reflecting the evolution of the ten best companies on BSE dipped 0.66 percent to 5,501.53 and the BET-C composite index assessing all listed shares minus financial companies slipped 0.25 percent to 3,171.00.

The BET-FI index of the five financial companies SIF eased 0.10 percent to 29,504.53 and the ROTX index for trading blue-chips in Vienna lowered 0.63 percent to 10,975.41.

The BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid companies fell 0.45 percent to 541.27 and the BET-NG index showing the evolution of the power market lost 0.08 percent to 739.65.

Shares of fertilizer maker Azomures (AZO) were the most traded this session and boosted 13.33 percent to 0.374 lei, while those of Biofarm (BIO) added 0.47 percent to 0.215 lei.

SIF Oltenia (SIF5) idled at 1.60 lei per share and SIF Moldova (SIF2) remained at 1.40 lei per share.

On the banking sector, BRD SocGen (BRD) plummeted 2.03 percent to 14.50 lei and Erste Bank (EBS) tumbled 0.17 percent to 118 lei.
