Romania’s main bourse BSE slips slightly at closing bell, the five SIFs plunge 2.6%

Liquidity continued to grow on the share segment and reached 37.83 million lei.

The BET index reflecting the evolution of the ten best companies on BSE reduced 0.25 percent to 5,360.37 and the BET-C composite index assessing all listed shares minus financial companies eased 0.54 percent to 3,079.70.

The BET-FI index of the five financial companies SIF fell 2.57 percent to 29,966.68 and the ROTX index for trading blue-chips in Vienna dropped 0.71 percent to 10,766.32.

The BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid companies lowered 1.11 percent to 536.37 and the BET-NG index showing the evolution of the power market lost 0.57 percent to 711.57.

Shares of SIF Oltenia (SIF5) crashed 2.40 percent to 1.63 lei and those of SIF Moldova (SIF2) declined 2.07 percent to 1.42 lei.

On the power sector, drilling company Dafora Medias (DAFR) sponged deals of 2.84 million lei and dipped 2.10 percent to 0.14 lei. Oil refinery Rompetrol Rafinare (RRC) added 1.09 percent to 0.0742 lei after resuming transactions.
