SIF shares on BSE hike 1.70% at day-end, on a market dominated by caution and apathy

Liquidity on the share section totaled 14.58 million lei, while bond transactions amounted 13.44 million lei.

The BET index showing the evolution of the ten best companies on the market soared 0.24 percent to 5,117.66 and the BET-C composite index assessing all listed shares minus financial companies inched 0.06 percent to 2,945.56.

The BET-FI index of the five financial companies known as SIF climbed 1.70 percent to 28,857.21 and the ROTX index for trading blue-chips in Vienna added 0.12 percent to 10,290.68.

The BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid companies gained 0.59 percent to 515.02 and the BET-NG index showing the evolution of the power market grew 0.18 percent to 673.08.

Shares of SIF Oltenia (SIF5) jumped 1.30 percent at closing bell to 1.56 lei, while SIF Moldova (SIF2) idled at 1.34 lei.

On the banking sector, BRD SocGen (BRD) remained at 14.70 lei, on deals of 1.26 million lei, while Banca Transilvania (TLV) advanced 0.99 percent to 2.04 lei.
