The BET index reflecting the evolution of the ten best companies on the market lowered 1.10 percent to 5,097.67 and the BET-C composite index assessing all listed shares minus financial companies reduced 1.06 percent to 2,975.47.

The BET-FI index of the five financial companies SIF lost 0.90 percent to 27,694.27 and the ROTX index for trading blue-chips in Vienna plummeted 1.16 percent to 10,543.01.

The BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid companies tumbled 1.13 percent to 511.44 and the BET-NG index showing the evolution of the power market decreased 0.97 percent to 658.18.

Shares of SIF Oltenia (SIF5) were the most traded on the market and cheapened 0.66 percent to 1.51 lei, while those of SIF Moldova (SIF2) declined 0.76 percent to 1.31 lei.

On the banking sector, Banca Transilvania (TLV) plunged 2.25 percent to 2.17 lei, while BRD SocGen (BRD) slipped 0.7 percent to 14.20 lei.
